Day 1-Giving Thanks

I want to begin a series of 14 blog posts, on thankfulness-
I may not post a new one everyday, but just share on here as the Lord leads.
We have so much to thank Him for! And I specifically want to thank God
for everything He has given me in Christ...especially for His amazing love and grace!

In every thing give thanks: for this is the
will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
  1 Thessalonians 5:18

(Day 1)
Thanking God for my friend's and family!

Friends are like the warm blue sea,
They splash laughter into your eyes.
Karen Reynolds

A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly:
and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
Proverbs 18:24

What is something you are thanking God for today?
I would love to hear your thoughts and comments!

I am thankful that my newest sibling is alive and appears to be healthy. My mother had quite heavy bleeding Saturday night and Sunday, but was able to see in an ultrasound on Monday that the baby is still growing. Praise the Lord!!!
Please keep them in your prayers, though, as they are not out of the woods yet. My mother is supposed to be resting to help keep the bleeding stopped.
