ripped though the area last month, 30 mi. to the west of our home.
It destroyed a house, and damaged another. This particular tornado was on the
ground for about 15.5 miles.
We were shopping in a neighboring city at the time,
and the sky was very dark and stormy. We decided to head home a
different way, and praise God...Otherwise we would have headed into part of the

storm! The hail here in the Midwest is known to reach the size of baseballs
(or larger), and tornado's and severe weather are not uncommon.
But, thankfully we know the One who is in control of the weather
and the storms! I am thankful for His protection that day, last month,

Wow, I am so thankful that you were safe! The weather this year has been quite servere.
Yes, the weather has been very severe this year. Especially with all the flooding, in Texas, Tennessee, Kansas, etc. Not to mention the major earthquakes in Nepal! Just need to keep thanking God for His protection, and trust in Him for continued safety!
